Salmon in colour and oily. Nose: rather simple, yet very pleasant nose of sour cherries and strawberries, a little spicy kick. Palate: Sharp acidity that can match the sour cherries of a black forest trifle. Almost icewine sweetness. Lots of cherries.

We drank this with some aggressive stilton and it was a really great pair! Some nice sweetness but not syrupy like actual icewine balanced the saltiness and punch of the stilton.
