Restaurant by the glass. I was distracted by the herbal, earthy, dark fruited aroma which didn't smell like pinot. It was balanced in the mouth with good structure, light tannin and in need of bottle time to knit together. Overall, interesting, taste first.
Notes from day 2. Dark red in color. Nose of strawberry, red cherry, little spice. Palate of hint of red cherry, little strawberry, dirt, with a mulled spice component on the tail end with a little bitterness. The finish was average in length, but I am not sure if I would consider it pleasant. Drink, as this was much better on day 1. 50+5+10+13+5
