  11/30/2019 - R Vio Does not like this wine: flawed

  There is a flavour that appears after drink and isn't taste good at all. We have 2007

  Duellen (Landvetter): Much better than a couple of years ago. Plenty of sweet fruit, coffee, licorice, chocolate, and butterscotch. Good structure, seems like this is peaking now.

  Ca 1,5 h luft. Intensiv, fruktig, kryddig, en hel del nya fat och tydlig alkohol. Fortfarande en del tanniner kvar, och vinet känns generellt mer åt det unga hållet. Mörka bär, plommon, fikon, söt lakrits, choklad, vanilj, örtkryddor, gröna blomblad. Något obalanserad med all ek, den väldigt mogna frukten, och de söta och lite beska tonerna från alkoholen. Ett annat vin som också går i den här svulstiga stilen - Cuvée du Quet -09 - tycker jag som jämförelse precis klarar denna balansakt. Lite märkligt med den lilla gröna tonen. Kanske var denna flaska lite off på något sätt? Svårbedömt vin, 89-91p
