  Dark gold to light amber color. Quite a rich nose with earthy, almost peaty notes, anis seeds, some lemon peel, baked peach, some caramel. Lots going on, not easy to grasp. It's way lighter in the mouth than the nose would suggest, there are high-pitched lemon peel notes, it's slightly medicinal in a positive way, medium sweet, but the sweetness is very well buffered by fresh acidity. Very long finish.
