Tasty, but the infusion of Petit Sirah(?) here did not do this any justice in my opinion, CT states the DW is long past, but this still had backbone, although the fruit was perhaps beginning to fade - Dark, well concentrated with a nose of plum, cherry, spice and vanilla, a bit hot and out of balance, decent complexity, tasty and tart on the finish with medium length (87 Points).

Popped and poured. Synthetic cork. Good color, no real signs of age there. Very tight nose even after in the glass for some time. Finally got some red fruit and even anise. Some hints of cocoa on the palate, medium finish with still some noticeable tannins. I would also disagree that this is on the decline.

Very enjoyable, not feeling this is past it's window as described in CT, although my guess is that there is a significant amount of either Petite Sirah, or Syrah blended into this - Very dark, well concentrated with notes of cherry, cola, plum, spice and vanilla on the nose, decent structure with fairly strong tannins on the mid-palate, overall smooth with medium length, very enjoyable! (89 Points).

Another half bottle. Dark colour, for a Pinot. Rich flavour, more complex than most Pinots. Excellent.
