Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Saturday, February 08, 2003 A light ruby color for a light red wine. Simple nose and flavors of cherries and some cola. Very drinkable; somewhat rustic. Closely resembles a well made Sancerre Rouge. Primarily used as cooking wine for the sauce described below but also paired with comte, pas de aylee (sp?) and chevre. Enjoyed with the Prewit and Beth Scripps.
