Not a bad wine to pop and drop. I thought this had a nice balance of earth, fruit, and acidity. A bit hot on the palate, and a little tight, but pretty good for a $10 Chat-du-Pape. I would probably buy and drink again, but nothing is truly remarkable about it.

This rang up for $10, and I'm glad because I would have felt ripped off at $20. Totally generic. I wasn't really paying attention once I realized it had absolutely no character, so I don't have much to say about it. CDP should mean something, hard to believe it's from that appellation, let alone a fantastic vintage. I seriously can't believe they managed to make such sub-par wine in that area in that vintage. Avoid. Although if it rings up for $10 for you too, it will be the cheapest CDP you ever buy, so why not.

A bit rough around the edges until it opened up after 45 minutes or so. Floral and blueberry dominated with light to medium body, a bit from my perspective for a 2007.

Bought at TJ's for 19.95. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had paid $10.00. But not a bad Rhone wine. A little tannic it might improve if put away for a few years. Not thin, lots of fruit, it is just a little rough and not as smooth as I like. But for $20, it is not bad.
