  What a big surprise, this is still alive. The color is a medium-light ruby red, with some bricking starting. The nose has some tart cherry, loam, savory spices, and a touch of some cheesy funk. Very smooth, very interesting. This was probably never a great wine, but it has some interesting character now. An interesting experiment to see how this kind of wine holds up with 20 years on it.
