  • Showing an interesting combination of aromatics, this wine opens with notes of black plum, black cherry, and a very subtle gamey note. Crushed berries come together with subtle forest floor tones, as well as some light hints of moss and peppercorns.

Ripe, dark red berries rolled in crushed black pepper show initially on the palate. Notes of vanilla, honey, and tarragon appear, while tones of forest floor, black stone, and wildflowers show lightly in the background. This is a unique wine with medium body and fresh acidity that make it an easy match for a variety of foods, particularly hearty dishes.

  • Light red raspberry over blueberry nose. Nice, simple, refreshing (good acidity), etc. Blue fruits with some red current upfront, the current dying out in the modest finish. 13%, and, according to the back label, the wine of the Vienna Opera Ball.
