  • Unscrewed the cap - and was hit with a wave of apple juice smell with some flowery notes (honeysuckle, or orange blossom, not sure).

In the glass the apple juice continues, but has some depth with some kero coming on, but still relatively fresh.

Palate: it seems as if the sweetness has tamed somewhat, the acid is still here, food friendliness reigns here (Indian [fish curry based on tumeric, cummin, garlic, onion, cardamom, ground corriander seed, garam masala). Was still excellent after dinner on its own as well. Given price, I'd have to say I'm happy with how this wine has evolved.

  • A fairly nice food friendly wine. Slightly sweet but some decent underlying acid. Went well with indian, ultimately a fairly forgettable lemon zest w/ apple peel nose and a "riesling" palate. - not rated
