Not as purple as one might think of Aloxe; certainly 04 is fading, drink now. A bit disappointed in this wine, as it is a decent producer. Again, not great vintage. Yet, it satisfies and is enjoyable, correct. There's that moss note I get in some Burgundies, either as some age, or even some young (Lambrays), lends some funk, I like. Drink up.
