Brought to a dinner date at Serratto. Paired with my wild boar pasta dish quite well. A touch acidic (VA?) at first, which blew off with about 20 minutes of air. Classic Cabernet aromas and flavors: Black currant, cherry, tobacco and earth, with a decent amount of oak. Vanilla and espresso on the lingering finish. Great wine, but the company was even better!

A bit early to open this up but I wanted to drink with dinner. Still a little hot with strong tannins but oh so good with black fruit, cedar, leather and a bit of sweetness. In another couple years this could be outstanding.

Nice velvety mouthfeel. Fully integrated, fruit starting to fade. Drink up.
