in love with this. great to drink on any occasion. lighter cherry/raspberry in color. smooth and easy drinking. doesn't last long in the glass. At $13.99 it beats many run of the mill $20 bottles at a major grocery store.

Voluptuous boysenberry fruit is draped upon a spine of rocky minerals; this is simultaneously lush and austere. Expressive, with pepper, garrigue, iron, and fresh acidity. For drinking young. The slightly woody tannins melt when paired with pork belly.

Clear bright red. Lots of nice raspberry fruit in the nose. The flavours are red fruit with lots of black pepper and spicey oak. Not sweet but medium wieght and dry finish. My first 08 from the Southern Rhone. This wine wasn't trying to be a CdP, but was a really nice CdR.

The 2008 strangely exceeds the 2009 with its tenderness and extremely smooth palate. A bit of a bargain.
