Albarino is my third favourite single-varietal white grape and this is a reasonably cheap, immediately enjoyable, example. The nose is not complex but has charm and the wine is full-bodied and floral. To me there are notes of spring flowers and apricots, with enough full mouth-feel for an aperitif wine while retaining enough acidity to match food (a chicken risotto in this case). A great alternative to chardonnay and viognier. Sorry the descriptions are not more informative, this was written a day later from memory.

Decent enough, well-made, no obvious flaws, but feels like it's trying to be complex and just not managing. For what it is, it's good. Went perhaps surprisingly well with burritos

A nice change from chardonnay & viognier. Full flavoured wine wine, probably best with food. Attractive floral nose, nice weight & balance, creamy finish. Very good for the price.

Similarities to viognier which rather disappointed me
came here wanting more minerality and freshness
