Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 88.8 points

  • A lovely light straw with hints of green. The nose is full of peach, nectarine and citrus fruit, with a tight minerality poking its head through. Slight hints of cream, but the peach and lemony fruit do most of the singing on the nose.

The palate is tight but generous on the front palate, with good tropical fruit character and a tight acidity holding the wine together and leading to a lengthy and elegant finish. Actually elegant describes this wine perfectly. As good an unoaked chardonnay as youll find. Look forward to seeing how the other bottles develop over the next couple of years.

  • Floral nose punctuated by passionfruit end elderflower. Well rounded acidity. Very similar in style to a viognier with an almost oily texture. This is not a typical chardonnay. Thoroughly enjoyable, especially considering the price.

  • Unoaked if I recall correctly - quite simple and inoffensive. Good for the price.
