PNP. Synthetic cork ok. Color dark garnet. Nose starts with dark berries like blue and black w oak and cedar. W air this takes on more secondary notes. Swishing shows the tannin and mild acid w some sense of over extraction. Sipping shows more Cabernet and malbec flavors w a hint of green and med tart finish. Ok

BTG purchase. Medium plus bodied, dark crimson. A huge blast of alcohol and oak initially, which starts to settle down as it sits in the glass. If and when you get through the alcohol there are dark berry and cherry aromas with a noticeable oak presence. Definitely a very pleasant earthy quality on the palate. This would be great if it wasn't so hot upfront; highly recommend decanting to allow the wine to settle down. Lots of upside with some air.
