Citrus peel on the nose. Lemon and lime flavors on the palate with some good acidity. Simple summer wine with little complexity. Refreshing summer wine when you don't want or need to overanalyze what your drinking. It's 8 bucks......what can you expect.

Appearance: (3/3) Clarity is clear and young, minimal depth with light yellow colours. Nose: (4/7) Clean, crisp and refreshing tropical fruit offering inviting aromas, which compliments the complex palate. Palate: (7/10) Off-dry entrance with a gradual follow through of tropical flavours and acidity. Well balanced throughout, offering a lingering aftertaste of sweet honey. Conclusion: (14/20) Young vintage with a light and refreshing nature. Age potential promises not to disappoint. Overall balanced between appearance and nose and combines at the end to ensure a lingering and refreshing aftertaste.

The wine has a pale and clear appearance with a straw colour. The clean nose has a medium-low intensity with a fruity and grassy aroma with green apple. The nose is fairly complex. An off dry entry with medium acidity and tropical fruit flavours. Therefore a medium follow through. The wine is well balanced, but with a low complexity and a short to medium aftertaste. This Chenin Blanc is drinkeable now. The warm climate is tasted back in the wine.
CWA point scale; 15/20

Doesn't taste the way I expect chenin blanc to taste, but aside from that this is a fresh summer quaffer. Tropical, well balanced and easy to drink. Crowd pleaser.
