This may be a personal record - nearly 10 years between bottles. Elegant, plenty of dark berries, spices, velvety tannins, and a long dry finish. Excellent with tonight's peppery tri-tip. Best on day 2 this time. Worth the wait.

This was fantastic. Birthday celebration with a grilled tomahawk steak. The fruit was evident from cork pull. Decanted about 30 minutes before dinner. Again, the dark fruits on pouring was wonderful. Not sure it needed the time, but it held up through the meal. Great fruit on the palate, really smooth tannins. Yes I have some time to drink this, but don’t sit on it too long.

Drank my last one. This is singing now but still plenty of life left. It improved over the time we enjoyed it, opening up with a more expressive nose of leather and spice. Very Well balanced. Wish the finish was a bit longer. Probably has a few more years in it but you can’t go wrong drinking now with an hour decant.

This was firing on all cylinders. It's in its teenage years, still showing lots of youthful fruit and density while also showing plenty of secondary notes and interest. A lovely Cabernet.
The smooth seamless balance was the most notable feature of this delicious wine. Tannins were pleasantly dusty, and flavors included blackberry and blueberry with a bit of spice and a little smoke on a long finish. Very easy to drink (perhaps because ETOH was only about 13.5%).
