Definitely a faded wine, but I was honestly shock that this bottle was still drinkable. I should expect it since George Hendry always produces a great bottle. Had this with a slow cooked Texas chili and it was a great pairing, would have been perfect if there was a little more fruit left. I'll try the 2000 with the leftover chili.

($18) Somewhat austere Zinfandel with earth and coffee flavors along with Zin fruit. For people who don’t like jammy Zins. Finish seems a bit hot. $18
