  • Decanted with the Vinturi and allowed to breathe for 35 minutes.
Nose: Subtle nose initially, but opened up after a bit to offer red and some dark fruit.
Color: Nice purple, almost opaque in the decanter.
    Body: Medium
Taste: Decent red and dark fruit on entry. Not much structure.
    Finish: Moderate length, no off-notes.
Overall: This is a pleasant, fruit-forward offering, somewhat typical of so many Aussie shiraz. If bought on sale (less than $7.00) it provides good QPR. We'll look for it to go on sale again.

  • A medium ruby to purple color. Cherries, blackberries, vanilla, and just a bit of spice on the nose. Medium body with soft, ripe tannins and adequate acidity. A bit soft, which is what I wanted for the evening, more of a cocktail wine. Loads of straight forward fruit on the palate with some spice kicking in on the slightly short finish. Not sweet and syrupy, but also zero complexity. On the whole a very adequate sipping or party wine. What more do you expect from a sub $8 wine?

  • Raspberry with a bit of boysenberry on the nose. Lots of raspberry and somewhat jammy in the mouth. Medium body. Not much of a finish. Not a bad wine though i probably wouldn't buy it again.

  • Color is fine, on the light side. Bouquet makes me think red fruit, like cherry. Description says strawberry, not feeling that. Medium-bodied, dry, fruity, low acidity, no heat, with tannins that aren't noticeable until a full glass has been consumed. In sum: simple, smooth, and fruit-forward. Would not buy again.

  • PnP, and sipped without food...simple fruit forward, smooth. Med body, low acidity, low tannins. Mrs. Coupe liked it more than I...Decent wine for the money. But nothing to write home about.
