Lightened in colour to more of an amber-orange stained red over the last year. Still very similar on the nose & palate to my last bottle, but has gained more bitter orange zest, while the ripe, tart raspberry has mellowed slightly. The real strength of this wine is the zip-through acidity that almost makes you treat this wine like it has several separate parts. At only a few years of age, this has a lot of underlying herbal, eathry nuance that could be quite interesting as time goes on. Excellent.

There is a nice deep orange hue to this red icewine. Intense nose.. raspberry, herbs and something of a dried orange thing going on. Rich & velvety in the mouth. Lots of varietal character. Loads of acidity that the Beamsville Bench has to offer. Slick flavours; bitter orange peel, ripe red berries. Long, complex finish with herbs, a touch of spice and a creamy note.
This is so good on its own, but I'd love to try this with some sort of fruit & white chocolate dessert.
