  • {cork} Attractive, developing nose of honey and mead, with a earthy, warm-granite hint to the aromas. Dense but fresh texture, dry, and with those yellow-leaf aging flavours you get when citrus ages. It has a medium-length finish; not especially complex, but pleasant all the same. Probably just the right age. Four bottles were opened over lunch; one was a little darker and has a distinct mustiness to it, so qualifies as generally flawed; not really sure I'd have picked it in isolation; it was the context of the other three that told the truth.
