Dark color. Open on the nose with dirty cherries coming through. I can taste the LI terrior on this one and that is a good thing: eathy, tangy, and minerally. All in balance. Good length on the back end.

Nice dark ruby. Bright cherries on the nose with a hint of rubber. Same cherry flavors on the palate, which I like, but the rubber is tasting a little burnt and bitter. Good wine, especially with the roast chicken I had with it, but I was expecting a little more considering the vintage and producer. I have liked lesser vintages more than this one.

Different than last note. Bottle variation. Big dark cherry fruit backed by all kinds of funky earth and a long finish. Very interesting.
