High intensity ruby red. Medium intensity nose, spicy, blackberries, plums, vanilla and coffee. Dry, high somewhat unbalanced acidity, medium tannin, fleshy, tasty and structured, medium body, austere on the palate, not showing too much fruit, but it shows in the aftertaste, good evolution and wideness. Medium duration aftertaste of medium intensity with fruity character (cherries). It has enough structure to evolve for a few years more, and it seems to be a good varietal expression with a good QPR. However, if you are a fruit-bomb wines lover it will probably disappoint you.

A nice value Carmenere with blackberries, cherry and earth on the nose. Palate adds a little oak and vanilla. Medium finish and drink now.

Good varietal taste, but not robust. Only fair QPR ($13).
