  Showed well again at a family gathering - everyone loved it. Deep and rich, but balanced. Ripe and rich California style for sure - no Burgundy pretense here. Not my favorite style, but there's a place and time for it on my dinner table.

  Rich, ripe, Cali Pinot done well. Good depth and balance with plenty of young-ish fruit. This is in no danger of falling off and should continue to age beautifully for years. Ed Kurtzman signature is evident here. Brought to a Christmas gathering and everyone loved it.

  Retail $45. Still fresh raspberry and black cherry fruit with a bit of forest floor. On the palate? Holy goodness. Rich, but restrained. Fruity but balanced. This tastes like a new release, not a nine year old wine. thedrunkencyclist.com
