You know, say what you will about YT, this was varietally correct, simple, yet very delicious - Light gold, medium/full bodied with a nose of grapefruit, grass, lemon cream and lime, very good balancing acidity, simple yet tasty, sweet, tart on the palate with nice length, great QPR (87 Points).

This is my first known taste of anything by Yellow Tail. This Sauvignon Blanc is very grassy and herbaceous. My knowledge and experience tells me those are characteristics of unripe grapes. Lots of people I know like these characteristics, but this wine is not for me. Chilled, or warmed up, we get "eau de gato" on the nose, and the palate. Very acidic. Has that powdery aftertaste that comes from acid additions out of 50# bags. There is considerable aftertaste on a rather unfriendly finish that unfortunately lasts several minutes. Wish I would have spent my money elsewhere.

I like this wine, and, as another reviewer noted, it does taste grassy. Light, it pairs well with baked salmon with chipotle sauce.
