This was the second bottle that I have tasted since buying them in 2011. It continues to improve! Medium body Chianti Classico with a bit of alcohol on the nose. Flavor has mellowed some but there still is a bit of fire on the initial taste. Had about a glass left in the bottle for several days and the fire went away and the fruit flavors came forward. I recommend at least another yer in the bottle for best drinking

Drink from a half bottle that I got from a sale. Dark ruby with garnet hue showing some aging, typical Sangiovese nose of cherry, earth and leather. Soft on the palate due to aging, along with cherry, leather and some spice. Fresh, simple and a nice quaffing wine. Medium finish with soft chewy tannins.

Non-blind. Drank immediately. 1/2-btl. Jammy nose towards strawberry jam. Hollow, strawberry wine with drying finish. Waste of time and money - luckily not so much money. (78p)
Revisited the last glass next day. In all honesty, cherries came forward and the wine grew somewhat displaying a less hollow structure with some weight on the finish. (81p) So I'm upgrading.

Taste was smooth, but the finish was not as long as I like. Paired very nicely with pasta in tomato sauce. Overall it is a wine I would drink again.

Chianti Classico (29 TN inside!) (Firenze (Italy) - Stazione Lepolda): Nice fruity nose, mature, almost jammy, but not particularly intense. Coherent taste. 13,5%; AiS : 80/84
