  I was a little underwhelmed with this wine. It was a gift, and I am not familiar with the producer. It is a perfectly nice village-level V-R, but nothing stood out as being above average when we had it. The texture was very nice and it had pleasant red-fruit flavors with some marked earthiness and pretty good length. Not sure I would buy it on my own dime(s) though.

  Light ruby, clear. Brighter towards the robe.
  Somewhat muted nose of red berries; currants, raspberries and strawberries. Some peppermint in the background.
  The bright red fruits follow through in the mouth. Light/medium body, medium acidity, not much in terms of tannins. Medium length. Very enjoyable, but not too complex.
