I'd drink up if you still have these. Again, great QPR at $8, but starting to feel a little tired at this point. Medium garnet with transparency. Aromas of fresh and dried dark red fruits, garrigue, dried spice drawer, and graphite. Light to medium body, medium acid and finish, and flavors of red and dark red fruits, spices, and graphite minerality. A light and easy quaffer or pairing for lighter fare. A red for your chicken dish.

Still solid. This time it's showing deep garnet in color, with smoke, tar, and dark and dark red fruits on the nose, with medium body, acid, and finish, and similar flavors on the palate. Fantastic QPR at the $8 I paid for these.

What a killer QPR in this one at $8 (!!) from Last Bottle. Still drinking well. Transparent crimson in color. Aromas of cherry, fresh herbs, licorice, cinnamon, and red hot candies. Lovely nose. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of cherry, kirsch, cinnamon, and red licorice. Restrained, food-friendly style, as opposed to a Rhone bruiser, and I love that about it.

Going on memory here from the other night...Deep ruby color. Dark red fruit and notable minerality on both nose and palate. Very smooth and easy drinking wine with fine tannin, pretty good acidity, and medium finish. Better after a little air, and drank ok on day two, though a little muted and less nuanced. I think this is flexible with food, but I'd probably go chicken or pork with more robust sauces, pizza, or leaner beef cuts. You know, meatloaf or a burger would also work.

pretty darn good, just enough fruit and solid tannins, but not enough complexity to take it to the next level
