Dark in color. So dark that I was surprised that the body wasn't heavier. Despite only spending 9 mos in 20% new oak, it gives off a lot of wood on the nose. Quite rustic and briary but has lovely fruit underneath. Classic Dry Creek. I'm going to go back and buy some more and try to keep my hands off for 2-3 years. Would go really well with roast beef, pot roast or prime rib.
