  • Very pleasant cab for drinking when you don't want to be bowled over by a monster. Nice cab nose and flavors. Easy drinking and never got tired of it. The wife and I easily finished the bottle. Paired very well with Rack of Lamb. I was expecting much less from this wine after reading a previous tasting note. I would not insult the winemaker on this effort considering it is meant to be enjoyed over a meal by a wide range of people. Do not expect Screaming Eagle and then be disappointed. This is what I would expect from a Livermore Cab.

  • Pretty much exactly what you would expect from a hotel chain bottling--generic, industrial, reddish, wine-like substance. I might have guessed it to be the Motel 6 cuvee. I hope Steven Kent is being paid well for his efforts on this wine because it really dents his rep. Wine equivalent of Natty Light.
