This is drinking great. Give it at least an hour to open up. Really interesting, complex nose running from red fruits and tart rhubarb to savory herbs and dark cherries. Some dark earth in there too. Tart fruit on the palate as well, though not as complex as the nose. Nice structure with some fine tannins offering the right amount of grip and decent acid carrying the darker fruit through the finish. If you have it, drink it. It's a blend of 3 very different vintages (mostly 2007), so I have no idea if waiting is going to up the complexity and pleasure.

Either I'm just not in the note-writing mood or I just can't figure out anything to write about this wine. It's nice, but at the same time completely boring. I guess I got what I wanted though, it's a nice weekday Pinot with no real flaws. I agree with "jshearer"s comment that this would be better if it were a bit 'tighter', while there are no edges, there are no lines clearly defining anything, if that makes sense. Still, not bad.

I think this is showing really well right now. Have tasted several times over the past two years. There are a couple levels of fruit flavor here - red cherries hit the high notes, and black cherries with a hint of earth hit the low notes. Very soft mouthfeel, with light acid and some light, fine-grain tannins on the finish. I also get a nice amount of saline/crushed rock on the finish. Would be 90+ if it was a bit tighter. Interesting wine for a great cause.

More dusty than last time on both nose and palate. Color has faded significantly over the past year.
