Did not decant. Still a dark, inky color. Just a hint of tannins on the back of the palate. Wonderful floral nose. Reminded me of an old world Bordeaux more than a new world Cabernet Sauvignon.
Wish I had a case more. Probably at the height of its drinking window now.

2 hour decant. This drank beautifully. Rich and delicious with balanced acidity that kept me going back for more. Last glass was the best. Paired nicely with rack of lamb and butternut squash risotto. Worth the $40 tariff. Drink now or hold for another 3-5 years.

The wine looks rosy colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like rose, violet and blueberry. It tastes like blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, dust, forest floor, rose and violet. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.
If I were tasting blind I would have called this a mid-tier Bordeaux. Complete surprise. Had it with dinner out and sent a taste to the chef. A few minutes later the sommelier comes over to inspect the bottle. It seems the chef shared a taste of the taste and the somm had to know what it was. I had neglected to remove the CT label before leaving home, so naturally he zeroed in on that (complete with price). "Interesting. I would have expected it to be a much more expensive bottle!"
My regret now is that I only had two bottles to begin with.

Just a bit past the peak now, but still fabulous in every way.. A Stag's Leap to luxuriate the senses over the long cold winter.
