By the glass at Restaurant Zarzo*, opened a few days ago. Very complex, intense mineral salinity, yet missing something that would make it truly special.

A private dinner (Restaurant Vermeer *, Amsterdam, NL): Añada 1930, Solera matured by Emilio Lustau 1/1. Solera or Añada, which is it!? Lovely depth and subtlety, salty but not austere, wood and fruit, good concentration, very good length. Does not seem to have the power of a very old wine.
