Tart red cherry, black raspberry, and plum. Definitely has some earth, forest floor, and that barnyard funk to it. Also, nice palate of white pepper and mineral notes. Drinking well right now, but probably don't want to wait much longer.

Nicely integrated rich blackcherry with ripe dark plum grounded by soft mellow forest floor. A pleasure pairing with grilled lamb chops, and shepards pie.

A great gigondas, one of my all-time favorite Rhone's. Probably not quite what it was 1-2 years ago, but still very good. Would suggest drinking this soon.

Best rhone I've had in a long time. Great concentration. Definitely some barnyard/brett on day 1 (just enough to keep it interesting) which disappeared by the next day. Drank fantastically on days 1, 2 and 3. Would love to have more.

A lovely Gigondas from a top vintage, it is evident that the quality level of Laurence Féraud's negociant wines can actually be totally acceptable. The 2007 Gigondas is a lovely wine with beautiful minerals, Grenache fruit and the Féraud typical whiff (or perhaps more than whiff) of brett... Clearly this effort exhibits a lovely fruit but also a very nice acidity and overall balance.
