Crown seal. Released in 2008, blended from wines with an average age of five years. Dank, dark nose of plum, liquorice, tarragon, and mint. Dark, inky palate, with flavours of blackcurrant, prune, and mint jelly. The concentrated fruit is balanced by broad, soft acidity and light, frothy effervescence. Weak structure; not getting any better, but pleasant to drink now.
