Enjoyed with beef tenderloin, baked potatoes and green beans. Second of four bottles purchased from the Wine Cellar in San Diego. Retains a deep purple color and decent aromatics that tend toward earthiness and tobacco. Very approachable and drinkable now and for the next few years.

Nose and wine are eathy, mossy. Lots of terroir and dirt. Not enough of the elements that would otherwise make this wine more enjoyable. It is quaffable, but I have lots in my cellar that I would otherwise gravitate towards.

We enjoyed this, needed two hours of air time and then the fruit qualities showed up.

Dean & Deluca distributed wine/label. Very good for the value.
