Lovely open nose with many aspects of fresh southern fruits, minerals, herbs and a hint of barnyard. Rich, rounded, supple taste with perfect grip and outstanding freshness thanks to the vintage - a really good one in Languedoc, as opposed to the Côtes-du-Rhône. Here we get lots and lots of pleasure and great drinkability. Biodynamic syrah and grenache from cool vineyards with a northern exposure in Pic St Loup. Obviously unfiltered, and no oak to disturb all the goodness. Trés sympa!

Much better on second day when the primary fruit quieted down.

Half and half Syrah Grenache blend. Unadorned, luscious fruit, soft tannins and mild structure. Great food wine or one to sip at a party.
