  • Pale gold with hints of copper. Slightly oxidative upon opening with bruised yellow apple, light butterscotch, and notes sandalwood. The palate is remarkably fresh and well rounded with good mid-palate density and elevated acidity. It improved over several hours gaining greater concentration as the yellow fruit profile ripened with the passing of time.

  • I currently am slightly coming off the back of a cold so while my taste is fine, my nose is under par, thus no score. On the palette, bracing and perfect acidity, bruised yellow apple, vanilla, some woodyness, like the wood in cologne or like chewing a toothpick. Some spice. Maybe some bruised banana. Benefits from a bit or warming up in the glass. Extraordinary balance. Genuinely refreshing. Still years ahead.
