Very black fruited aromas. Cassis and sticky plum, doesn't have the lively feel of the 09 Tamarack Cab Franc. Dense black and a little chewy and crunchy. This has only been open 30minutes and needs more time to show itself.

Spring Release 2010. Dried fruit nose, mid-palate has red licorice, lavender, cassis. A hint of huckleberry and sage. Fine mouthfeel and rich, but not sweet, flavor confirms this is classic WA merlot. Really excellent with food.
