  Pretty nose of black cherry and asian spice. On the palate this wine is focused, like a laser beam of pure cherry fruit, kept on target by a surrounding cylinder of mouthwatering acidity. The cherry fruit starts red and tart, but with lamb chops and then later, with extended aeration, it becomes a bit fleshier and darker. This is new world, no doubt, but well balanced and not in the least bit overripe. Our second bottle and both have been this delicious. Wow.
