  • This almost seven year old has not lost its charm and elegance. Gold in color and pear is predominat in this Chard with a hint of cut hay and citrus. Round and full bodied, this Chard is a great sipper and complemented our sushi dinner nicely. I love the way Miner does Chards, full bodied but not overly oaky and buttery.

CT says this was my last bottle of the '08. Now I am anxious to try other vintages. If you still have some of this around I'd recommend drinking up within the next 12 months.

  • A cross between today's "crispy" California Chard's and old school "Buttery" Chard. I prefer the older style with butter, butter scotch and oak as opposed to apple and grapefruit. This had subtlety's of both, but more on the crisp apple and citrus side, otherwise I would have rated it higher.

    Nice drinking wine.
