Picking out one overriding aroma and flavor it would be blackberry. This was decanted three hours. Easy one to still buy to cellar or drink now with decant. Many years ahead of it.
Better on day two.

Strong, sappy new oak dominates the aromas, almost like a fresh wood stain. Fruit driven with plum and espresso, mild tannins. Decanted an hour. Last of my '07s and the best of the Bullies so far for me.

Nowhere near over the hill. Needed about an hour to completely open and soften and then it was singing all through dinner. Another amazing Red Mountain Cab from Chris Gorman.

30-minute in-glass decant (would have benefited from more). Well integrated tannins, but still earthy for sure. More fruit than I anticipated at this age, which was a nice surprise. Lots of sediment.

Nice nose of dark fruit with spice, smoke and dark chocolate. I think there's plenty of life / age-ability left. Not fined or filtered, I didn't decant and ended up with a solid teaspoon worth of skins in the last glass.
