Really hitting on all cylinders tonight; tasted vis-avis the 2004, this is a clear winner, full, deep, chocolate-sented fruit, mineralæs here, too, and a vibrant balance within the powerhouse. Tannins still present, but i do think, this is hit right on the dot.

This is another reason I love wine! Call me a fool, but I knew nothing about the appellation or producer, I purchased this based on the Cellar Tracker Review and age and absolutely loved this wine!
Decanted for 3 hours, the wine poured with a beautiful tawny color with medium legs and a lot of sediment in the bottle. On the nose, fig, prune, and mushroom dominate. The wine had an amazingly silky texture with well integrated tannins with tastes of prune, fig, and black pepper with a lingering finish.

Notes de torréfaction , chocolat , graphite . Arômes tertiaires accompagnés d'une acidité d'excellent aloi . A son apogée , selon moi . A boire jusqu'en 2020 .

Absolutely brilliant. Has this amazing forest floor nose. Beautiful purple color. Amazing palate with currant, coffee, pine, very little tannin. I'm not sure I would pick it as a Priorat if tasted blind, feels more Toro to me almost, but it's still really beautiful. Could sit on it another year if you like, but doesn't hurt to drink it now.
