Intense, moderately deep, luminous yellow color with pale green highlights. Developed, complex and intriguing nose with attractive aromas of smoke, pineapple, mature toasty notes, a little honey, a hint of nuttiness and a whiff of overripe banana. Dry, full-bodied and richly textured palate with mature flavors of ripe yellow apple, mirabelle plum, some honey, a little pineapple and a hint of toasty developed notes. Bright, structured acidity. Quite long, complex and gentle finish with layered flavors of stony mienrality, sweet apple, some nuttiness and a touch of salinity.
A truly wonderful example how a seemingly simple basic-level Arneis can develop something really complex and interesting given some years in the cellar. Completely different from young Matteo Correggia Arneis with a lot more depth, weight and elegance. Very recommended; this wine really encourages to stash some Arneis bottles away in the cellar.

This shows a balanced, pleasant wine that drinks well now. The color is a youthful light yellow. The light bodied palate shows nice balance and short to medium length.

Peach blossom, honey, mineral. Pure and clean on the palate with the alcohol and a bitter note peaking through. Piercing. Like a cool climate Vermentino.

Light color, green hint on rim. Aromatically quite pretty with loads of floral pear and apple... minimum earth notes, no barrique notes, no diacetyl or botrytis notes. On the palate the wine is dry with moderate to high acidity, no phenolics, low ETOH. Balanced wine with average length, very good intensity, minimal complexity. The wine has nice finesse and a very fresh, yet fruity texture... good expression of place though not as Italian in nature as some arneis I suppose. I love this wine for what it is... in the grand scheme of things it is nothing more than a 'very good' wine though it is a pleasure to drink... maybe likability should be on my quality assessment, if it were, this wine would 'rate' higher.

Three Small Piemontese Producers (Prince Wine Store - St Kilda): Very impressive for the low price. A white peach and apple nose with some great floral notes. The palette is full of very concentrated fruits; peach apricot and apple.
