  Nicely integrated Merlot showing good concentration of soft darker fruits and some secondary characteristics of leather and a little bit of dirt. In a good place right now, with no real signs of falling off anytime soon. Good stuff.

  This is a great Merlot. Wonderful black fruit on the nose, a lot of grip on the mid-palate, long finish, little oak and a lot of acidity. Alcohol levels are restrained and there's no sign of heat. The wine is well balanced.) Currently, this wine is very tight, even after being open for a day. I would not open it until 2012 or thereafter. Once the tannins mellow out a bit, this should be a stunning wine.
