  • Decanted approx 30 minutes. Gorgeous aromas of spice, cherry, and dried cranberry. Subtle secondary aromas of leather and dusty earth. Fully integrated tannins provided very nice levels of grip and texture. This bottle was fully "opened" at about an hour in. On the palate, a beautiful mixture of cherry and dusty minerality were most prevalent, creating a lush, smooth mouthfeel. I was impressed with how balanced the flavors were, and how intense they remained, at almost 22 years of age. A memorable bottle.
