Consistent performance - held up well vacu-vind over 3 days. Pair with breakfast fare such as parsley-basil mild cheese omelettes and related lighter fare. Could pair well with lighter fruits. Smooth and consistent taste in this sauvignon-semillon blend, with a only slightly sour earthy-waxy (lanolin?) mineral honey fig citrus (grapefruit) taste. Good for sipping and consistent although not a compelling blend. Moderate finish of same. Balanced, Would be even better with a fraction of a floral slightly lifted white perhaps white malvasia or maybe a bit of vouvray or anjou chenin blanc. Sauvignon blanc, semillon, muscadelle. 12% abv (hurray!). Body medium, acid medium. Good to very good QPR at USD 10.
