Mild nose of citrus and hay. Wild and zingy flavors of lemon lime and gooseberry that zip around at about 40mph. At $7.00 it is a steal! It is still drinking very well and should be fine for another year. Hope the 2010 is as good. This wine has good acidity and pairs great with goat cheeses and seafood. Spicy dishes too.

Cellar Tracker Clean-up (from memory): This is my favorite sub $10 Chilean sauvignon blanc. (We paid $7 and $8/bottle). Even though it is last year's wine, it is still drinking well--albeit maybe a point below 2010. (I must have under-rated the wine last year).
Lovely fruit, mineral, tart and crisp. Very changeable with appropriate food pairings, such as goats cheese, chevre, soft shelled crab, etc. A very good wine for food.
Nearing the end of its drinking window. I hope I can find the 2010, soon. Drink now.

At Eno Terra Farm to Table 2010 Event: Delicious sauvignon blanc. Crisp, mineral, gooseberry, great nose (the inside glasses helped). Best with the bean salad and the polenta (I thought, although Jen did not).
Unfortunately, the restaurant (Eno Terra, Kingston near Princeton, at the $49 Farm to Table event) wouldn't pour us any wine at all for the appetizer course, although I thought it would have also gone well with many of those (e.g., the beets with goats cheese, roast squid, etc.).
Classic sauvignon blanc and very good QPR (at the $8-$11/bottle retail shown on Wine-searcher)

(MontGras Sauvignon Blanc Reserva, San Antonio Valley) Bell pepper, lime, and freshly mown hay emerge on the nose. This is a medium-bodied, fresh, delicious Sauvignon Blanc to enjoy over the next 12-18 months. Offers wonderful character for the money. Appellation: San Antonio Valley

Very round, steel white, shaved legs, little farm on the nose, mostly hay.
