We have fallen out of the habit of drinking dessert wine mostly because we have fallen out of the habit of having dessert. The other day, though, some friends were over who have a proclivity for sweet wines so I thought I would throw this at them. Glad I did. Whoa. Citrus and nutty with orange peel. On the palate? Holy cow. This is off the charts good, with weight, tartness, depth. It is all there. Hard to imagine why the "Drink By" date on CT is 2104. thedrunkencyclist.com

Golden yellow colour. Light caramel and honey nose. Palate is a little short to start with some fine tannins but sweet finish comes through.
